ABOUT ME
What drives you? If you ask me, it's being an excellent educator to English Learner (EL) students. My name is Nicole Inglot and I have been teaching ELs for 4 years. I have a Master's in Teaching and Learning from University of St. Francis and I am bilingual in English and Polish. I work at Glen Oaks, which is an award winning school in North Palos D117. Our school received the National Blue Ribbon accolade and this past year, we ranked #9 on Chicago Magazine's "Top Suburban Cook County Elementary and Middle Schools" list.

These accomplishments are significant when you put into perspective that 70% of our district population is identified as ELs! That's where I come in -- a Polish bilingual teacher. I mainly service students in 2nd grade in both pull-out and push-in classes, but I also support 3rd and 4th grade students throughout the day. I am passionate about working with bilingual students; as a 1st generation American in this country, I understand some of the struggles these students face.
